Cookie Policy

This policy lists everything sempera.org stores in your browser or loads from a third party. It is deliberately short, because the list is short.
Nothing that identifies you loads until you accept. Before you answer the banner, this site sets no cookies and loads nothing that can recognise you on a return visit. If you decline, that stays true.
Two things do load regardless, and neither uses cookies:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, added automatically by our host. It counts page views and page-load speed. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and cannot follow you to another site.
- Cal.com, on the contact page only, because without it there is no booking form. See "Booking a call" below.
What we store without asking
One item, and it is not a cookie:

We use local storage rather than a cookie on purpose: local storage is tied to this site's address by construction, so your answer cannot be misfiled against the wrong domain and cannot leak to a subdomain.
What loads only after you accept
Google Analytics 4
Measures how many people visit, which pages they read, and which channel brought them. We use it to decide what to write and where to spend, not to build profiles.

Google acts as our data processor. We have not enabled Google Signals, ad personalisation, or data sharing with Google's products and services.
HubSpot
Our CRM. If you fill in a form or book a call, HubSpot is where that lands, and it associates your submission with the pages you looked at first.

What we do not use
No advertising pixels. No retargeting. No visitor de-anonymisation, meaning no service that tries to work out which company or which person is behind an anonymous visit. No session recording, meaning nothing replays your mouse movements or your scrolling.
This is a deliberate choice rather than an omission, and we mention it because it is common in this industry and you would have no way to know otherwise.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. Choosing decline removes our analytics on your next page load. Cookies already set by Google or HubSpot can be cleared through your browser's own settings, since only your browser can delete them.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline.
Booking a call
Booking uses Cal.com, loaded on the contact page whether or not you accept, because without it there is no booking form. It sets what it needs to run the scheduler. If you would rather not load it, email us instead and we will send you times.
